About

West Africa Division of the International Academy of Pathology (WADIAP) is a professional membership organization and registered charity, representing Pathologists, Doctors and Scientists working in the fields of pathology in West Africa, we advance pathology research, teaching and practice standards that improve quality of care for patients. We are also dedicated to the advancement of Pathology through educational exchanges worldwide. Collectively, we provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of advances in the understanding of pathologic processes and for the presentation and critical evaluation of scientific, technological and methodological advances in the practice of Pathology. Our goal, and a fundamental role of the IAP, is to provide access to the vast store of valid, currently authenticated and trusted knowledge for questioning minds in the Anatomic Pathology Field.

The West African Division covers both the English and French speaking countries in West Africa which including Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Mali, Burkina Faso, Mauritania, Ivory Coast, Cape Verde, Senegal, Guinea, Saint Helena, Guinea Bissau, Sou Tome & Principe, Togo, Benin, Niger and Sierra Leone.
